Save gas.
You can save gas by walking or riding a bicycle. That kind of exercise is good for you. It will strengthen you heart, increase stamina, and make your legs hurt. Oh! Well I guess two out of three ain't bad.
This is all about traveling for your own good. It's the kind of therapy you need when you retire. Suddenly, your weekends are seven days long and you have to learn to use that to improve your outlook. So hit the road. Hit the airways. Hit the seaways. Pathways are good too. Listen to Willie Nelson singing "On the Road Again." It makes a lot of sense.
