This is all about traveling for your own good. It's the kind of therapy you need when you retire. Suddenly, your weekends are seven days long and you have to learn to use that to improve your outlook. So hit the road. Hit the airways. Hit the seaways. Pathways are good too. Listen to Willie Nelson singing "On the Road Again." It makes a lot of sense.
Sometimes, early in the day, the clouds move away and you can see the top of Mauna Kea where there are a number of astronomical observatories. This picture of the 13,000+ ft. summit was made from sea level, and 28 miles away. Not bad for a little pocket-size digital camera.

I'm a retired teacher who collects Cushman motor scooters. My wife and I travel a lot, and have been to all 50 states. We like to cruise.
